Christine has been an active member of the Edmonton/St. Albert community for over four decades. She is a dedicated supporter of the Stollery Children's Hospital and has volunteered with several community organizations, including the Edmonton Food Bank, Nina Haggerty, Mustard Seed, Santa's Anonymous, and various school support programs. Her strong community engagement also includes serving as past president of an Edmonton Rotary Club. Christine's involvement with Rotary has taken her overseas to South America and Mexico, where she has contributed to a children's literacy program and Santa's Christmas Celebration.
In her spare time, Christine enjoys family gatherings and cherishes watching her grandchildren grow, whether in person or over FaceTime. She also values catching up with friends, reading, and exploring her creativity through oil and watercolor painting, which she describes as her source of Zen. Christine takes pleasure in her backyard tending to her flowers during the summer months and travelling in the off season.
